Designer, engineer, innovator and fine furniture maker. Living in Germany with his family,  and a small piece of his heart in Aotearoa where he was born. Curiosity fuels Jon’s creative process and feeds his natural impulse to collaborate.

Lina

Communicator, marketer, dreamer and citizen of the world. Lina and her family have returned to Hamburg after more than a decade travelling the globe while based in San Francisco.

Heather and Martin

Heather is an artist, illustrator, designer and gardener, working closely with Jon to compose concepts for Giant’s Orchestra. Martin is a stump collector, entrepreneur, environmentalist and enabler who thrives on bringing people together, stirring the pot and seeing what bubbles up.

Marita

A writer and architect, Marita has a deep affinity for Aotearoa’s ecologies and materials. She is interested in telling stories about places and the ideas that spring out of them.

Rupert and Brent

Rupert and Brent, woodworkers and crafters, have kauri in their veins. Rupert brings grading and quality control expertise to Giant’s Orchestra. Brent’s years of experience with kauri are key to helping us reveal the beauty within the uncut timber stumps.
